1st ABC/J Expert Talk 2017 - Register now!
"International Comparison of Nitrogen Pollution of Water Resources & Management Strategies" is the title of the 1st ABC/J Expert Talk, which will take place on 29 and 30 November 2017 in Cologne. At the ABC/J Expert Talk, national and international experts will present examples of the current situation with respect to nitrogen pollution in Germany, selected EU Member States, and California. On this basis, both existing and planned nitrogen management strategies will be presented by the speakers. The focus will be placed on nitrogen reduction measures for agriculture, e.g. for implementing the European Union’s Water Framework Directive and Nitrates Directive.

The event targets participants from different disciplines with an interest in agriculture, soil, water, and related fields, as well as from different insitutions such as ministries, regional and local authorities, water utilities, water boards, chambers of agriculture and agricultural associations, engineering consultants, and scientists.
The languages of the conference are German and English (simultaneous interpretation).
