In order to give students the opportunity to familiarize themselves with various aspects of scientific computing as early as possible, the Juelich Supercomputing Centre (JSC) is once again organizing a programme for guest students in the 2016 summer vacation. The programme is supported by CECAM - Centre Europeen de Calcul Atomique and IBM.

Tägliche TerrSysMP Simulationsrechnungen über NRW und Europa von HPSC TerrSys
Das Centre for High-Performance Scientific Computing in Terrestrial Systems (HPSC TerrSys) führt unter Anwendung der Modellierungsplatform TerrSysMP tägliche Simulationsläufe zu einer Reihe unterschiedlicher Parameter im Vorhersage-Modus über Nordrhein-Westfalen und Europa durch. Die Modellergebnisse werden auf Tagesbasis als Videos über den HPSC TerrSys YouTube Kanal veröffentlicht.
